Knill targets loan signings

Bury manager Alan Knill has revealed he could bolster his promotion-chasing squad when the window for loan signings opens. Knill made a cash bid for a player during the January transfer window and although it proved unsuccessful, the Gigg Lane boss says he could dip into the loan market. Knill said: "We made a cash bid for a player but obviously didn't get him but it's good that we're able to make such a move. "However, I'm not too concerned as we already have a strong bench with key players coming back. "Maybe in three weeks time when the loan window opens up again we'll be able to make another move."
