Knill: Standards are high

Bury boss Alan Knill has urged his side to reproduce the level of performance shown against Sheffield Wednesday on a weekly basis in npower League Two. The Shakers largely outplayed the Owls in Tuesday's Carling Cup first-round tie at Hillsborough, but they could not turn their dominance into goals. Giles Coke struck in the second half to hand the Owls a 1-0 victory, but Knill was left delighted with his side's display. He said: "Somebody is going to get it if we carry on playing like that. "We will take credit and be pleased with the performance, but now we have to turn those performances into wins. "The lads have set an unbelievable standard now and if we can keep reaching that standard then we will do pretty well this year."
