Knill shocked after Shakers defeat

Barry Conlon scored the Mariners goal after 20 minutes heading home following a good cross from Danny North but the Shakers boss insisted his side were the better team. Knill said: "I've not seen a more one-sided game for a while. "But if you get chances you've got to take them and you've got to stop them from scoring. We started really well, looked really bright, but then gave them a goal. "Even after that, we were by far the better team but just couldn't score, we tried everything we could. "On another day it's a comfortable win for us. I thought the performance was pretty good and if we continue to play like that we'll win more than we lose."
