Knill: Shakers deserved victory
Shakers skipper Stephen Dawson scored an 86th-minute winner from the penalty spot to sink Alex and secure his side's third win on the trot.
Knill said: "We were well worth the win. My players were all excellent.
"What really pleased me was the desire of the players. At the end of 90 minutes we were still going forward which was great to see."
