Knill reveals Bury retained list
Knill had hinted that there would be minimal changes to his Shakers squad after they missed out on automatic promotion on goal difference, before suffering play-off misery when they slipped to a semi-final second-leg penalty shootout defeat against Shrewsbury.
But the list sees six players leave Gigg Lane, while four players have been offered new deals.
Striker Glynn Hurst and defenders Paul Morgan and Steven Haslam have all been released, while on-loan Elliott Bennett, Phil Jevons and John Walsh have all returned to their parent clubs.
The club have triggered a clause in Ben Futcher's contract, so he will stay for at least another 12 months, while Richie Baker, Danny Racchi and Cameron Belford have all been offered fresh terms with the Shakers.
