Knill lauds Lowe

Bury boss Alan Knill has hailed in-form striker Ryan Lowe as a shining example to the rest of his squad to follow. The 32-year-old, who signed a contract extension last week keeping him at Gigg Lane until 2013, has hit nine goals already this term including a brace in last weekend's victory over Accrington. Knill said: "He's been fantastic and not just on the pitch because off the pitch he's got a lot of leadership qualities "The players respect and look up to him. "He's the first one to put his hand up if he thinks there is something wrong and the first one to argue if he thinks he's right, which I kind of like."
