Knill happy with progress

Bury manager Alan Knill believes his side are starting to build momentum following their 3-1 win at nine-man Aldershot. Glen Little gave the Shots the lead but Darren Jones saw red after he fouled Ryan Lowe in the area and though the striker missed his penalty, Mike Jones' cross found the back of the net. The visitors made their extra-man advantage count in the second half as Jones grabbed his second and Marvin Morgan and then manager Kevin Dillon were dismissed before Nicholas Ajose wrapped up the points for the Shakers. "We are going well at the moment. I don't like to use the word momentum but we have it," said Knill. "I think Jones' second strike was brilliant but I am not to sure about the first one. I think it was a cross but it was a great time to score just before half-time so I am not complaining. "I thought we played pretty well. They scored against the run of play but the good thing about my players is that they want to go forward and I thought we deserved the comfortable win in the end."
