Knill happy to see Shakers make their point

Bury boss Alan Knill was pleased to take a point from a hard-fought 0-0 draw away to Rotherham. The hosts enjoyed the best chances but the Shakers held firm to keep their promotion charge on track. "I don't think either team deserved to lose. Both teams had chances but both teams lacked that bit of quality to take all three points. I said to Ronnie Moore coming off that I thought a point each was a fair result and I think he agreed," he said. "We defended the second balls really well after a shaky start. Either team could have won it, but I think a draw was a fair result. "We came here looking for a win, but I would have taken a draw at the start. It keeps Rotherham five points behind us and we still have a game in hand. "If you finish five points above Rotherham at the end of the season it's a pretty good season you`ve had. We want to stay as far away from them as possible and not losing at this time of the season is a must."
