Knill hails excellent Lowe

Bury manager Alan Knill hailed the contribution of 32-year-old striker Ryan Lowe after his 20th league goal of the season salvaged a 1-1 draw at Gillingham. Lowe scored late in the second half, cancelling out Curtis Weston's opener and keeping the Shakers above Andy Hessenthaler's men in the play-off places. Knill said: "I've got some players who are playing at the top of their game right now. It would have been a travesty if we didn't come away with anything from the game." He added: "You always want a chance to fall to Ryan at some point in the game, especially the way he is playing. "His whole game excellent at the moment - his strength, his touch, his movement are great, and you put him in front of the goal and he's a top player. "I've seen him for a number of years and it's the best he's ever been. He looks to me like he's enjoying playing for Bury, and we hope that will continue."
