Knill blasts sloppy Shakers

Bury boss Alan Knill questioned the commitment of his players after they slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Crewe. Goals from Shaun Miller, Dave Artell and Luke Murphy saw off the Shakers, who saw Steven Schumacher dismissed for a second bookable offence. "If 10 out of your 11 players don't turn up then that is what can happen," moaned Knill. "This is Crewe. They are one of the most potent attacking teams in the league and you don't give them a start like that. "There is nothing we can do now other than point out to the players what we expect of them and then put it behind us. "We didn't play well and we got what we deserved. We made it very easy for them."
