Kennedy eyes upturn

Bury defender Thomas Kennedy is confident the Shakers will soon end their long winless run and move away from the League Two relegation zone.

The Shakers are only four points above the bottom two after a dismal three-month run that has seen them fail to win any of their last 15 matches.

Kennedy told the Manchester Evening News: "Everything seems to be going against us, but we've got to keep our heads up.

"We've got good players at this club and we'll get out of trouble. I'm sure luck will be on our side soon."
