Jones sinks nine-man Shots

Bury winger Michael Jones scored twice as the Shakers came from behind to beat nine-man Aldershot 3-1. After a quiet first 10 minutes, the deadlock was broken after Shots goalkeeper Jamie Young released winger Jermaine McGlashan on the right wing and his cross was turned in by Glenn Little. Referee Dean Whitestone then took centre stage after awarding the Shakers a penalty on 22 minutes for a foul on Nicholas Ajose by centre-back Darren Jones. Jones was given a straight red card and though Ryan Lowe's spot-kick was saved by Young, Bury drew level with a minute left of the first half when Michael Jones' cross turned into a precisely placed lob over the stranded Young. And the visitors made their extra-man advantage count in the second half as Jones grabbed his second with his left foot from the edge of the penalty box on 66 minutes. Things got even worse for the hosts as first Marvin Morgan and then manager Kevin Dillon saw red and Manchester United's Nicky Ajose celebrated extending his loan by wrapping up the points on 77 minutes.
