Jevons comes back to haunt Shakers

Jevons, who had a spell on loan with the Shakers last season, was the star of the show in Tuesday night's League Two clash as Alan Knill's side lost for the first time in 12 games.[LNB]The Christie Park hosts went ahead on the hour mark from the penalty spot. Will Haining's header towards goal struck Bury defender Tom Newey on the arm and Jevons sent Wayne Brown the wrong way from 12 yards.[LNB]Seven minutes later, it was 2-0 for the Shrimps as they had a huge slice of luck. Jevons was again involved with a cross from the right that was heading for Paul Mullin until Bury defender Ben Futcher intervened to head past his own keeper, who was left flat-footed in the process.[LNB]Jevons sealed his brace 10 minutes from time when he was left unmarked at the far post to poke home Michael Twiss's pinpoint left-wing cross.[LNB][LNB]
