Futcher keen to erase bad memories
The Shakers missed out on automatic promotion last term by a single goal and were eventually defeated in a play-off semi-final penalty shoot-out.
But Futcher has said they must put it behind them if they are to fight for promotion this season.
"We had a good season last year but we can't live off that," the 28-year-old told the Bury Times.
"There is no extra pressure after last season because we put pressure on ourselves to do well every week.
"Everyone enjoyed being up there and that is the only place to be now. We want to get in the top seven again."
