Bury look set to complete the signings of Kyle Bennett and Lenell John-Lewis after offering the young forwards deals at Gigg Lane. The duo have impressed in pre-season and are expected to put pen to paper in the next 48 hours. Winger Bennett, the 19-year-old younger brother of former Bury loanee Elliott, was released by Wolves in the summer while John-Lewis, 21, is without a club after being released by Lincoln. "We are going to take on Kyle and Lenny," boss Alan Knill told the Bury Times. "We have looked at Kyle a lot and wondered if he could cope with the physical side of things but he is exciting when he picks the ball up and I like those sort of players. Hopefully we can work with him. "We like Lenny too. He is only 21 but he is powerful and strong and we have seen enough of him in training to know we want to work with him. "He can play anywhere along the front line. He played against us for Lincoln and he caused us a lot of problems and I have always liked him."
