Dawson looks ahead to next season
Alan Knill's side can win promotion on Saturday by beating Accrington Stanley and hoping that Exeter slip up.
Dawson said: "We're living for it now. I'm sure the fans are in for a treat. We could be playing Charlton, Southampton, Norwich and Leeds next year and that's what we want.
"We want to progress and, I'm sure if we get promoted, the gaffer will bring in more new faces and we will push on."
