Daggers claim draw with Shakers

The Shakers made the better chances on Saturday, with top scorer Ryan Lowe denied what looked a fair first-half goal. But the Daggers claimed a deserved point, which saw Bury slip out of the top three on goal difference. Bury made a positive start with Ryan Cresswell seeing a header cleared off the line and David Worrall sending another effort wide. Dagenham's Mark Arber then missed the target with a header before the visitors saw a goal disallowed from a scrappy corner. Ben Futcher headed over for the hosts and an end-to-end first half continued with Josh Scott denied by Bury keeper Wayne Brown, who had been named League Two Player of the Month for February earlier in the day. Lowe then saw a goal ruled out for offside after a fine through-ball by Shakers skipper Stephen Dawson.
