The Shakers will hope to make a winning start before successive trips to Darlington and Hereford respectively on August 15 and 18. A busy opening month is completed with a home clash against Grimsby and a mouthwatering derby clash away to neighbours Rochdale. Alan Knill's men, who were beaten by Shrewsbury in last season's play-off semi-finals, face another derby when Accrington visit Gigg Lane on September 5. Bradford are the visitors on Boxing Day before the Shakers make the short trip to Accrington two days later. Bury wrap up their campaign with a home clash against Torquay on May 1 and a final-day trip to Northampton the following week.
