Bury new boys in line to start

Nick Pope and Joe Riley are in line for their Bury debuts against Wycombe.

Goalkeeper Pope arrived last week on loan from Charlton but has been forced to wait for his debut after the trip to Accrington was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Full-back Riley joined on a permanent deal from Bolton this week having spent most of the season with Sky Bet League Two rivals Oxford.

Striker Daniel Nardiello will return to contention following his hamstring injury, but the game comes too soon for Shwan Jalal (ankle), Keil O'Brien (knee), Pablo Mills (groin) and Joe Thompson (hamstring).

Wycombe are set to rest striker Paul Hayes when they make the trip north.

The 31-year-old has been struggling in recent weeks, playing through the pain barrier, and Gareth Ainsworth will give him the weekend off in a bid to avoid the forward sustaining any long-term damage.

New signing Marcus Bean was thrown into action as the Chairboys beat York 1-0 last weekend and he looks set to keep his place in the Chairboys' midfield.

Brentford loanee Courtney Senior also featured in the squad and could be given the nod from the start against the Shakers.
