Hylton blow for Shakers

Bury caretaker boss Ronnie Jepson is expected to be without striker Danny Hylton for the clash with Torquay.

The on-loan Rotherham forward was taken off in the first half of last Saturday's 2-1 victory over Wycombe with a knee injury and looks set to miss out once more.

Craig Jones (groin) and Marco Navas (hamstring) have made good progress from their respective injuries and could recover in time to feature.

Jepson will run the rule over Tope Obadeyi, who is nursing a groin injury.

Torquay are set to be boosted by the availability of three players when they make the long trip to Gigg Lane.

Goalkeeper Michael Poke, defenders Aaron Downes and Kirtys McKenzie all made their recoveries from injury in a friendly with Yeovil on Tuesday afternoon and could come into contention to travel.

Poke and McKenzie are yet to play for the first team this season after injury while Downes was playing his first game since a cartilage operation three weeks ago.

The match also saw midfielder Damien Mozika get some more game time under his belt as he continues to regain his match fitness after a hamstring injury.
