Navas missing for Shakers

Bury boss Kevin Blackwell will be without Marco Navas for the clash with Morecambe.

Spanish midfielder Navas made his League debut in the goalless draw with Newport but will sit out this game after sustaining a hamstring injury.

Striker Jessy Reindorf remains sidelined with a hernia problem, along with goalkeeper Rob Lainton (shoulder).

Marlon Jackson and Ashley Grimes are back in training but are unlikely to return against the Shrimps. Tope Obadeyi is nearing full fitness after a spell out with a groin injury.

Morecambe manager Jim Bentley will be hoping his side can extend their seven-match unbeaten run at Gigg Lane.

Bentley, who signed a new two-year contract on Thursday, has no fresh injury or suspension concerns for the trip.

Robbie Threlfall (suspension) and Andy Fleming (foot) returned to the starting XI for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Carlisle and they could retain their spots in the side.

Long-term absentees Chris McCready and Jack Redshaw are definitely out, while Marcus Marshall (hamstring) is edging closer to a return but this game looks to have come too soon for him.
