Shakers sweat on Jones

Craig Jones will undergo a late fitness test ahead of Bury's clash with Mansfield.

The midfielder missed the Shakers trip to Fratton Park on Saturday with a groin injury and has a 50-50 chance of making the team.

Marlon Jackson may return to Bury's line-up after returning to training this week following a hamstring complaint and Tope Obadeyi could feature following a groin strain.

Jessy Reindorf has been ruled out for four weeks with a hernia problem, while Marco Navas is also likely to miss out with a hamstring injury.

Mansfield have no new injury issues to contend with ahead of the trip.

Manager Paul Cox has plenty of options available to him should he wish to make any changes to his starting line up following the goalless draw at Torquay on Saturday.

On-loan Nottingham Forest midfielder Jack Blake is awaiting his Stags debut after being an unused substitute at the weekend.

Ben Hutchinson, Calvin Andrew and Ollie Palmer did make it off the bench at Plainmoor and will hope to have done enough to earn a start on Tuesday night, while Anthony Howell, Lindon Meikle, Colin Daniel and Godfrey Poku are also available.
