Joe Riley set to miss out again for Bury

Bury defender Joe Riley is set to sit out his side's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Hull as speculation mounts over a move away from Gigg Lane.

The highly-rated right-back has been left out of the last two matchday squads by boss David Flitcroft due to reported interest from Leyton Orient.

Tom Soares is expected to continue to deputise while Craig Jones may also come in after replacing John O'Sullivan during the midweek goalless draw against Crewe.

Flitcroft must also decide whether to bring back Nathan Cameron, who was only on the bench against the Railwaymen after returning from suspension.

Hull defender Michael Dawson is expected to return to contention following a nine-game injury lay-off.

Dawson has been sidelined since December due to a knee injury but boss Steve Bruce is likely to make changes and Dawson could be among them.

Fellow defender Alex Bruce stepped off the bench after returning from a back injury in last week's win at Fulham and is also in contention, along with midfielders Tom Huddlestone and David Meyler plus forwards Sone Aluko and Chuba Akpom.

Midfielder Shaun Maloney is doubtful after sustaining a knock during training this week and Adama Diomande's groin problem will be assessed.
