Bury without banned Anthony Kay against Gillingham

Bury defender Anthony Kay completes his two-game suspension when Gillingham visit.

Sixteen-year-old Callum Styles is set to continue in midfield, and manager Lee Clark is likely to offset his inexperience by fielding Paul Caddis, who has made two successive starts since signing at the weekend.

Fellow midfielder Danny Mayor returned to the squad for the midweek win over Coventry, but was an unused substitute and needs game time having been out since January 20.

Striker James Vaughan is close to a return after a back injury.

Gillingham will be hoping midfielder Bradley Dack is in contention again after he missed the defeat at Swindon on Tuesday with a hamstring problem.

Mark Byrne (hamstring) and defender Chris Herd (knee) will also be assessed, along with Deji Oshilaja (groin).

Forward Rory Donnelly (ankle) and defender Bradley Garmston (hamstring) look to be facing a spell on the sidelines, while Aaron Morris (knee) remains a long-term absentee.

Veteran full-back Paul Konchesky has joined Ryman Premier side Billericay Town after failing to hold down a regular place under new Gills head coach Adrian Pennock.
