Jones still missing for Shakers

Bury will be without captain Craig Jones when Fleetwood make the short trip to the JD Stadium.

Midfielder Jones missed the 0-0 draw with Rochdale on Friday night and boss David Flitcroft later revealed he had torn his hamstring and faces two weeks on the sidelines.

Andrew Tutte will come back into the frame after sitting out against Dale, his former club, due to an agreement Flitcroft and his ex-mentor Keith Hill had when the midfielder moved to the Shakers in January.

Danny Mayor came off at half-time in the derby but that was not because of injury, with Flitcroft explaining he was feeling mentally drained after a family bereavement.

Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander has reported no fresh injury concerns prior to Tuesday's trip.

The Cod Army ended a four-game winless streak away at Torquay at the weekend with an unchanged XI and, after recording a third straight clean sheet, Alexander may opt to stick rather than twist once more.

Alexander will be without midfielder Jeff Hughes, out for the season with a broken leg, while attacking duo Bobby Grant (foot) and David Ball (ankle) are also set to occupy the sidelines once again.

Fleetwood signed FC United defender Tom Davies on Monday but the player immediately returned to the non-league club on loan for the rest of the season.
