Nardiello set for Shakers start

Bury caretaker boss Ronnie Jepson could hand a first start to Daniel Nardiello when AFC Wimbledon visit the JD Stadium.

The on-loan Rotherham forward came off the bench in the second half of the 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers last weekend to make his Shakers debut and he could be in line to start against the Dons.

Defender Richard Hinds was an unused substitute in Tuesday's FA Cup clash with Cambridge after sustaining a head injury at the Memorial Stadium. He could make a full recovery in time to feature.

Tommy Miller and Anton Forrester are in contention to make the starting XI after they came off the bench in midweek.

AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley will have to make one change for the trip.

The Dons romped to a 4-0 win over Portsmouth last weekend but midfielder Harry Pell collected his fifth booking of the season and serves a one-match ban.

Winger Chris Arthur is the only other absentee with an ankle problem so Ardley will otherwise keep changes to a minimum.

However, striker Charlie Sheringham, who has made one brief substitute appearance since August due to an ankle injury, hit a hat-trick for the reserves in midweek to stake his claim for a recall.
