Shakers make it seven unbeaten

Bury extended their winless home streak to seven games following a 1-1 draw with AFC Wimbledon at Gigg Lane.

The Shakers had taken a 35th-minute lead through Danny Hylton but could not hold on for the points with Luke Moore equalising for the Dons.

Wimbledon's George Porter wasted an early chance, apparently looking for a penalty after poking past goalkeeper Brian Jensen, allowing the ball to trickle wide.

Jensen intervened once more to palm away a cross-shot from Porter and Michael Smith's follow-up was blocked.

Ross Warner made a great one-handed save to keep out a Hylton header but he was soon beaten.

Chris Sedgwick danced through two challenges to deliver a floated cross and Hylton found the net with a looping header in the 35th minute.

Michael Smith then spurned a couple of opportunities, finding the side-netting with one and firing another tame effort straight at Jensen.

But the visitors finally equalised when Moore picked up a Smith flick-on to thump a shot past Jensen in the 66th minute.

Neither team were able to clinch a winner with Dons substitute Jim Fenlon flashing an injury-time effort just wide.
