Lisbie roles back the years

Kevin Lisbie scored twice, one in each half, to lead Leyton Orient to a 2-0 win at Bury.

The veteran striker sealed a tight game to take his tally to eight for the season.

Bury were extremely unlucky not to take the lead when Zac Thompson saw his effort cleared off the goalline by Mathieu Baudrey.

But Orient punished them with their first effort on target. Dean Cox fed Lisbie and he held off Matt Doherty to fire powerfully into the bottom corner.

Lloyd James was off target with a 25-yard free-kick and Trevor Carson saved well with his legs to deny Lisbie immediately after the break.

At the opposite end, Ryan Allsopp made a superb save to keep out Andy Bishop's header before Efe Sodje rifled over the top from the resulting corner.

But Orient doubled their advantage when Lisbie poked home Lee Cook's corner.

Doherty missed a great chance for Bury, heading wide from Steve Schumacher's corner and Allsopp saved a Bishop header from point-blank range.
