Bishop recovers after surgery

Bury striker Andy Bishop has successfully undergone surgery to correct a knee injury which had troubled him for several months.
The 26-year-old battled on despite the problem, as the Shakers came agonisingly close to securing promotion to League One.
Manager Alan Knill told the club's official website: "I spoke to Andy on Tuesday and he has come through it well.
"He has played with the problem since December and he got through the season to help us out.
"I think you could probably see the difference in his performances from before and after Christmas, but we couldn't really afford to do it any earlier."
