Baker: Bury boss role is `easy'

Bury caretaker manager Richie Baker believes Alan Knill's successor will find life in the Gigg Lane hot-seat "reasonably easy". Knill quit the Shakers last week to take charge of npower Championship strugglers Scunthorpe and youth-team boss Barker presided over Saturday's 3-0 win at home to Oxford. The result further encouraged hopes that Bury can win automatic promotion from League Two in the coming weeks. And Barker said: "Whoever comes in and takes over this team and stands where I was, will be an extremely fortunate manager. "Because in close on 20 years I've been involved in professional football, these are probably the most professional bunch of players I've been with. "Whoever comes in is going to find it reasonably easy."
