Northwich Victoria remain deep in relegation trouble after losing 2-1 to Burton Albion in the Nationwide Conference clash at Wincham Park.
The visitors took the game to Vics from the start but poor finishing denied them an early lead, with Darren Stride, Andrew Corbett and Sam McMahon all failing to find the target.
A rare Northwich attack saw Mark Foran test Albion keeper Matt Duke with a header, before the visitors finally went ahead nine minutes before the break.
Corbett picked out Robbie Talbot on the edge of the penalty area and the striker lashed the ball past Andrew Ralph to give Albion a half-time lead.
It was a different story after the break though with Vics controlling the early stages of the second half and deservedly finding an equaliser in the 56th minute.
Karl Brown chose to pull a corner back to Colin Potts and the striker rifled home his first goal for the club from 20 yards.
Northwich were on level terms for just 15 minutes though, before Barry Williams latched on to a Dale Anderson throughball and placed his shot past Ralph to give Albion a 2-1 victory.
