Webster extends Brewers deal

Burton Albion left-back Aaron Webster has signed a new contract to keep him at Eton Park until the summer of 2006.

The 23-year-old has been one of the most consistent performers for the Brewers this season and boss Nigel Clough was eager to secure the services of one of his most prized assets.

He told the Derby Evening Telegraph: "Aaron has turned into one of the best left-sided players in the Conference.

"His new deal includes an increase which reflects his growing maturity and consistency.

"We've had a couple of inquiries about him but no offers. We don't plan to sell him anyway, we don't need the money."
