Rowett lauds in-form Harrad

Burton assistant manager Gary Rowett paid tribute to striker Shaun Harrad after he scored the only goal of the game to beat 10-man Cheltenham. The Brewers frontman claimed his 10th goal of the season when he rifled home from 25 yards in the seventh minute. The victory moved Burton up to ninth in League Two and they are now just three points outside the play-offs."It was a fantastic goal. When you see Shaun playing well he hits things early, when he's not playing well he rushes them and they seem to go wide," said Rowett."He is playing with confidence. He has not been in the side and of all the players he could have felt the most aggrieved. But he bided his time and has been magnificent in training. He deserved his chance, has taken it and now he's the striker on song."Rowett added: "It was frustrating that we didn't add to the goal. We got in behind their back four on three or four occasions but the final ball let us down."
