Pesch to hit loan market

Burton Albion boss Paul Peschisolido is ready to raid the loan market as his side struggle to deal with their mounting injury troubles.

Versatile Andrew Corbett is the most recent player to be struck by injury after being hurt in the 10-0 reserve team thrashing by West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.

He joins Paul Boertien, John McGrath and Keith Gilroy on the sidelines ahead of their clash weekend clash against Hereford United.

Speaking to Burton Mail, he said: "We are looking at the situation on a daily basis and assessing what we need to do.

"It may be that we need to bring somebody in, perhaps a full-back, but it would still be a case of trying to find the right player.

"If we go down that road it has to be the right player, someone who will improve on what we already have, and we don't have a bucket load of money to spend."
