Jackson absent for Brewers

Richard Jackson looks likely to miss out for Burton when Port Vale visit the Pirelli Stadium.The defender has suffered a calf injury after overcoming his groin problems and seems destined for another spell on the sidelines.Fellow defenders Darren Stride and Paul Boertien remain out with groin and thigh injuries respectively, with the former set to see a specialist about his problem.Winger Marc Goodfellow has joined Blue Square Premier outfit Kidderminster on loan until the end of the season, while Leicester defender Tony Parkes has extended his stay with Paul Peschisolido`s side for the same length of time.Nine-goal striker Greg Pearson will be hoping for a recall after having to settle for a substitute role in the last two matches.
