Austin stalls

Ryan Austin remains an injury concern for Burton`s home clash with Southend.Austin sprained an ankle during the home defeat to Aldershot on November 23 and has still not made a full recovery.He is expected to remain sidelined along with fellow defender Richard Jackson, who has been a long-term absentee.Those two aside, boss Paul Peschisolido has an otherwise full squad to choose from. He may also boost numbers with the signing of experienced midfielder Bryan Hughes.The 34-year-old former Wrexham, Birmingham, Charlton and Hull player is training with Albion and Peschisolido is keen to sign the free agent.
