Stanton set for return

Centre-half Nathan Stanton could return to the Burton squad for the visit of Stockport. The summer signing from Rochdale has missed the last four matches with a hamstring injury but he has resumed training and could put himself in contention for a recall. Boss Paul Peschisolido recalled Greg Pearson in place of Richard Walker against Lincoln, and the Canadian could stick with that strike partnership despite the goalless draw at Lincoln in midweek. "I thought Greg and Shaun (Harrad) were superb, especially in the first half, with their movement and their interchange of play," said Peschisolido. "If you are looking at final third entries, they must have had a dozen each in and around the box. However, nothing dropped for us on Tuesday night." Adam Bolder made his return after a month out with a shoulder injury as a second-half substitute against Lincoln and the midfielder could be included on the bench again.
