Stanton blow for Burton

Nathan Stanton looks likely to miss out when Burton host Bury. The defender failed to reappear for the second half of the 2-1 victory at table-topping Chesterfield last weekend after suffering a groin strain. The injury could rule the summer signing out of Albion's next three games, starting with the visit of Bury on Friday evening. Stanton's likely absence will almost certainly mean a recall for club skipper Darren Moore, who filled the breach at the b2net Stadium. Moore, who returned to the squad at Chesterfield after a one-match suspension, had to settle for a place on the bench as boss Paul Peschisolido kept faith with the defence that kept a clean sheet in the FA Cup defeat of Oxford. Russell Penn has been nursing a thigh strain this week but the midfielder is expected to be fit.
