Second best hurts Pesch

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido acknowledged Wycombe were the much better side, despite the good fortune which brought them their first two goals in a 4-1 win. A brace from Stuart Lewis, Lewis Montrose's 20-yard strike and a Scott Rendell penalty gave Wanderers victory, while Sam Winnall netted Albion's consolation. "I don't really want to go into what I said to the boys to be honest because we were beaten by a much better team," said Peschisolido. "We were away from home and I want people to dig deep and it just didn't happen. But you have to give credit to them because they're an excellent side, who beat us in every department and wanted it more. "They were more athletic, they were better on the ball, they moved it better and they passed it better. "We came out for the second half and had a spell for five to 10 minutes where we scored the goal, but we had one long ball at the other end and we don't deal with it. "It's nice for Sam (Winnall) to score his first goal, but really there aren't many positives to take out of that and I think we realised we're nowhere near as good as the team we just played."
