Peschisolido hails Burton's fighting spirit

Paul Peschisolido was by far the happier manager after his Burton side battled to a 0-0 draw against Hereford. The most excitement came in the shape of two red cards, Burton's Russell Penn receiving his marching orders in the first-half before Hereford skipper Janos Kovacs was dismissed just after the break. Peschisolido, who has seen his side win away only once this season, said: "Our away record has not been the best but there was plenty of fighting spirit." He added: "The players were lunging for each challenge and it was the reaction we wanted after picking the same side which lost at Torquay during the week. "I was hopeful that we would get a winner because we were pressing and, every time we got a cross into the box, Calvin Zola always seemed to be on the end of it. "But all in all, it was a clean sheet and a good point. We played better today, the lads wanted it more and I am pleased about that."
