Peschisolido accentuates the positive

Paul Peschisolido refused to be down heartened after his Burton side failed to break down Oxford at the Pirelli Stadium. The Brewers had the better chances in a 0-0 draw which marked Oxford's return to the Football League but Peschisolido was more focused on how solid his own side were at the back. "I'm absolutely delighted because we were defensively superb in our first game of the season and we're off to a good start," he said. "We'll get better but we have to keep the mentality that stops us from conceding silly goals. "We've been solid, we've not looked like we would concede a goal and we never really looked in trouble at all, so I'm delighted with a clean sheet. "Our passing will get better and so will our decision-making on the ball. Oxford are a big strong side and we found them hard to break them down."
