Pesch salutes battling Burton comeback

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido hailed his side after they "came back from the dead" to defeat Macclesfield and claim a three huge points in their battle to avoid relegation from the Football League. Albion appeared to be heading for defeat after Emile Sinclair`s 81st-minute header had re-established the visitors` lead at 2-1. But Adam Bolder`s header dramatically levelled things with just four minutes remaining before Sam Winnall converted an 89th-minute penalty to wrap up a memorable 3-2 triumph. The result opened up a five-point gap between Burton and bottom two Barnet and Stockport, while Albion still have three games in hand. "We came back from the dead - it was a great response by the boys," said Peschisolido. "I thought we played alright, although it wasn't a great performance, but that's what you expect when you're down near the bottom of the table and confidence is lacking. "It's a fantastic win because of the way we've done it by coming from a goal down on two occasions and scoring late in the game. It's a great credit to the boys, who still believe we're in a false position. "Hopefully, with the games we have in hand, we'll prove we're worthy of climbing up the table."
