Burton boss Paul Peschisolido has backed James Collins to continue to star in a Brewers shirt over the Christmas period.
The on-loan Aston Villa forward has scored five times in eight starts for the League Two side and the second month of his loan is due to expire this weekend.
But Peschisolido is confident he will agree to stay and comtinue his red-hot form.
"James is an important member of the squad and I'm really pleased that Villa are happy for him to stay with us for a while longer," the Brewers boss said.
"We have a very busy schedule of games over the festive period and we're probably going to need all the numbers we can muster with four games to be played in just over a week.
"More than that, though, James has done really well in his time with us, and fits nicely in the system we want to play."
