Burton boss Paul Peschisolido has signed former Liverpool striker James Ellison on a two-year deal.
Ellison, 18, becomes Peschisolido's third new signing of the summer and, having been at Anfield since the age of eight, is now relishing the prospect of regular first-team football.
He told the Brewers' official website: "This is a good opportunity for me.
"I think at this age now I need to be getting some first-team experience under my belt. I just want to show people what I can do and hopefully get recognised.
"It was very difficult decision to leave the club I have supported since I was a boy but I realise now that it is the best decision I could have made."
