Pesch happy with opening win

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido was satisfied after his side secured a 2-1 victory over Blue Square Bet North side Ilkeston Town in their first pre-season outing. Trialists Axel Bossekota and Jack Dyer gave the Brewers a first half advantage before the Robins pulled one back in the second half. Albion were ultimately comfortable winners and Peschisolido said: "I thought some of the stuff we played was very good considering it was our first run out. "It was all about match fitness, we didn't go into too much detail on set pieces, that will come and while it is important to win games, nobody wants to lose, that was secondary and we improved our fitness which was the aim of the exercise. "There were a couple of good finishes from Axel and Jack. To be fair the trialists all did well. All the lads that have come in have come in with good references, they have trained extremely well and as you can see we have got some good lads to look at."
