Pesch hails triumphant Brewers

Burton manager Paul Peschisolido hailed his side after they registered their first victory of the season with a 3-2 win at home to Morecambe thanks to a late Greg Pearson penalty. The Brewers enjoyed a flying start when Aaron Webster powered home a header but Andrew Fleming levelled from a Darren Moss cross. Chris Shuker was on hand to set up Fleming for another close-range finish after the break but Webster pounced from six yards to equalise and Pearson struck the winner from the spot. Peschisolido said: "I'm delighted we've got our first win on the board, and we've surely got rid of the myth after our first couple of results that we're going to be involved in drabby nil-nils all season. "I would have preferred us not to concede, but we kept it exciting and we kept it entertaining and to come back from 2-1 down in the manner we did showed great character. "We reacted in a very positive way, which is always good to see."
