Pesch hails Brewers` quality

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido could scarcely conceal his delight after his side recorded a 2-1 win at League Two leaders Chesterfield. The Spireites, previously undefeated at home, recovered from going a goal down but after midfielder Derek Niven was dismissed in the second half, Shaun Harrad came off the bench to win it for the Brewers. Chesterfield were reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute when Niven was sent off for a late challenge and Peschisolido beamed: "It's fantastic, they were unbeaten at home and we hadn't won away so it was kind of written. "But I thought the performance was excellent. We grafted extremely hard and in the second half we had two or three chances to put it to rest but we kept plugging away. "We had to contain them because we knew they are formidable at home but we caught them on the counter attack and scored a good goal. We napped a bit on their finish but the characters we have at this club are quality."
