Pesch hails Brewers' character

Burton manager Paul Peschisolido hailed his players after they beat high-flying Chesterfield for the third time this season to move out of the npower League Two relegation zone. The Brewers, who won at the B2net Stadium and also dumped the Spireites out of the FA Cup earlier in the season, brought Chesterfield's 10-match unbeaten run to an end thanks to Aaron Webster's fifth minute strike. "It was a great performance," said Peschisolido after the 1-0 win. "When you score early against the top of the table side with plenty of firepower, you need to show plenty of character to hang onto it. "We certainly had that in abundance and I thought we should have had it dead and buried long before the end. Their keeper made some great saves. "With a bit more luck, I thought we would have won by a few more, but I don't care about that because it's a pleasing result at the start of a very busy schedule for us."
