Pearson Set To Net New Deal
Paul Peschisolido has revealed that striker Greg Pearson is in talks over a new contract // 25 year old Pearson, has scored in three successive games since forcing his way back into the side. He was top scorer for the Brewers with 20 goals in their Blue Square Premier title winning season and has continued to impress this term. He has netted 12 times despite only being on a part-time contract to allow him to study for a physiotherapy degree at Birmingham University. The Brewers boss said: "We have pretty much agreed terms with him and we will sit down with him this week to finalise things. "Hopefully, the paperwork will just be a formality."
