Burton have handed trials to non-league strikers Danny Carter and Marvin Johnson. The pair will remain at the Pirelli Stadium until the end of next week in the hope of proving they can make the step up to the Football League. Carter, 24, already has 14 goals to his name this season - including three hat-tricks - playing for Midland Alliance side Coleshill Town. Albion boss Paul Peschisolido said: "Coleshill have very kindly given me permission to have a look at Danny in training. "I don't want to miss out on anyone, especially someone on our doorstep, so it's an opportunity for the lad to show what he can do. "The same applies to Marvin Johnson. He's playing for Romulus but he comes highly recommended and I'm more than happy to have a look at him as well."
